A new Experience

Today we visited the Kingsleys church.  The Kingsleys are Jehovah Wittness's.  This was our first time going to their church and it was a pleasent and enjoyable experience.

Later today we get to see Nick and his adoptive family.  This will be the first time that the Kingsleys have seen Nick in 6 years! Wow!

Visiting with the Kingsleys

We are now in Andover Kansas.  The Kingsleys moved out into the country and own horses and other such hobby farm animals.

Being in Kansas has given me a desire to move back.  I have had the thought of moving back for awhile, but never had such a strong feeling to be in Kansas until now.  Yes, being here brings in emotions that are stronger then when I am not here.  In Kansas there is more family, more support and just more of a feeling of continuity.

If I were to move back, I would need to transfer with my job.  Making the money I currently earn here would be far better then Minnesota.  The cost of living is cheaper in Kansas.

Yesterday Andrew and Marissa's adoptive parents called to say that they would like meet the Kingsleys, another answer to prayer!  Hopefully we will be able to bring all together during our visit.

It has been 67 degree here! Talk about really nice! It is a nice change from dealing with -10 degrees.

Merry Christmas

It has been awhile since I have posted on here, but with a new year right around the corner, figured it could not hurt to start. :)

I am in Kansas visiting with my wife's family for the holidays. What a treat it has been! Our Christmas Gift to us from her Parents was Atiya, a small Scottish Terrier! She is a great puppy and we are working on the piddle pad training with her. She has been a wonderful gift since we had to put our family dog down after 15 years 2 months.

Alot has taken place over the last few months, I am still working on the railroad and Dawn has been doing very well with her health. The kids have been active in soccer and football. Tom now is driving and has a vehicle of his own and Mariah is attending college to become a massage therapist. In only a few years we will be less two children and be down to two children with us full time and one part time.

One of the photos above is of the auditorium in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is the largest in the world and holds 21000 people! I visit Salt Lake City, Utah often with work and have come to really enjoy the area and the people that are there.

What I get for "helping the Ex-wife"

So the ex-wife asks that if I will help her move a couch out of her garage with my larger van. I agreed and my son came along to help me out. As we were trying to manouver the couch in the van my hand became sandwiched inbetween the couch and the vehicle door. I thought that I had broken my hand, so I went to the clinic to have an xray.

Finally lost some weight!

Well after growing to a 46 inch waist and being told I am not attractive anymore, I figured I needed to loose some weight. What motivation..... LOL Oh well.

I feel better now and feel little more confident about myself. Maybe if I keep loosing the weight I will be desirable to someone. :)

What a day!!
